In February 2014, Mini Gears hosted the Northwest Automotive Alliance’s 8th Business Excellence Networking Meeting.

40 delegates attended the event which started with a tour of our manufacturing facility, focusing on how we had developed a strategy to respond to changes in the market resulting from the recession and low cost outsourcing, including improvements in production and processes, quality and Kanban derived delivery systems.

This was followed by lunch at a local hotel and a presentation by Paul Darwent, Chairman, on how Mini Gears had grown from a 1.3 million pound turnover to over 9 million.
