Mini Gears can manufacture in house a wide range of gear products including Spur and Helical Gears, Shafts and Splines, Worms and Wormwheels, Sprockets and Timing Pulleys.

Gear manufacturing capacity is from 25mm to 600mm diameter. We can also produce items such as gearboxes and many other machined parts that are related to power transmission.

Mini Gears' rack division has enjoyed continual growth since it was started in 1995 and now supplies to 70% of the stairlift industry and is still expanding. Our racks are small to medium pitch (up to 6DP) and up to 3 metres long. With innovative engineers dedicated to improving the performance of our customers' products, our specialist way of cutting racks now sees Mini Gears producing over 300,000 metres (one million feet) of gear rack per annum.

Mini Gears' UK factory makes gears and racks for almost every type of industry that requires power transmission. Typical markets include valve flow control, stairlifts, diesel engines, specialist low volume automotive parts, marine leisure products, printing machinery, crane hoists, vacuum pumps plus many other applications. Our customer base includes blue chip companies such as Rolls Royce and Stannah Stairlifts.
